The delivery of the downtown Youngstown Christmas tree is being delayed because of the weather conditions and power outages.

A spokesperson from the Youngstown Parks Department said all the utility workers are busy fixing power lines and the equipment to raise the tree is tied up with that.

The tree was supposed to be raised Friday at 10 a.m.

The tree delivery will be rescheduled. We’ll let you know when that happens.
