YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — There have been no firm decisions yet on how to improve the parks system in the City of Youngstown.

Members of city council’s Parks Committee met Thursday morning with local block watch leaders and others.

They discussed a recent study done to see what improvements could be made to existing parks and playgrounds and where new facilities could be added in different wards.

Council members are working on legislation that could be brought up at an upcoming meeting.
