PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WYTV) – Valley Congressman Tim Ryan has been selected to speak at the Democratic National Convention on Thursday, according to his communications director.
Ryan’s campaign does not know what time he will be speaking, but said it could be any time after they hit the gavel at 4:30 p.m.
Clinton will be making a stop at East High School in Youngstown on Saturday, and Ryan said he will be there. He said the fact that the presidential nominee is visiting right after the convention shows how important the area is to winning the election.
Before heading to the DNC, Ryan said that he expected Clinton to talk about issues that will directly impact the Mahoning Valley’s businesses and industries.
