A familiar name in comedy will be reopening Saturday — this time in downtown Youngstown.
The Funny Farm Comedy Club is coming back.
Dave Robich, the original owner never thought they would locate in Youngstown.
“Back then, suburbia was where we were building. In fact, we were at the Holiday Inn Metroplex for 25 years — and to be honest with you, we never thought we would ever leave that spot.”
Melissa Katsaros is also helping re-open the club. She says it’s just what’s missing from downtown.
“There’s nothing better than to laugh and I think that’s what everyone needs right now — and I think if they go to one show they’re going to be hooked.”
The club opens Saturday and is located above the Federal.
The shows start at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m.
Tickets are $20.
