Citizens discuss Youngstown with councilwoman Davis over coffee

Local News

The monthly Coffee and Conversation meeting with Youngstown’s 6th Ward Councilwoman Anita Davis was held at Flambeau’s Live on Saturday.

The meeting allowed citizens that Davis represents to speak to her and one another. Davis says they also gain information about what’s going on in their ward and in the city.

The Mahoning County Board of Elections member Tracey Winbrush and Mahoning County Auditor Ralph Meacham spoke at the event. They informed the citizens of Youngstown’s 6th Ward on how their services work and how the citizens can utilize them.

Councilwoman Davis also wanted feedback about a proposal she plans to send to city council.

“I want to have council consider passing a thing that our water resources and all the things that are apart of it, the entire system, that it could never be sold or privatized,” Davis said.

Another Coffee and Conversation meeting is planned for April.
