Christmas tree arrives in downtown Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Christmas Tree for the city of Youngstown was placed in Central Square Friday.

The tree was picked up from a home on Schenley Avenue on the city’s west side. It was donated by the homeowner, Juan Martinez. 

Holiday events in the Valley 

Diamond Steel Construction donated its time and equipment to help city workers in the parks and recreation department to get the tree in place.

The tree will be on display for the rest of the year. The tree lighting is set for Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m.
