AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A customer at a bakery outlet store was injured after a car crashed into the store’s parking lot Tuesday afternoon.
It happened just before 6 p.m. on Mahoning Avenue near Four Mile Run Road in Austintown. Police were chasing a suspect for violating a restraining order, but they ended the pursuit just before the crash.
The suspect lost control of his vehicle, hitting several steel posts and rolled over, striking a parked car in the store lot. The driver of the parked car was injured and taken to the hospital.
The suspect refused treatment and was taken into custody.
