GIRARD, Ohio (WKBN) – Police released photos of the man they say robbed the Chase Bank on W. Liberty Street in Girard on Monday evening.
Girard police said the man entered the building and slipped a note to one of the tellers.
It happened just before the bank closed.
An employee who called 911 told a dispatcher that the man held a note out that said he had a gun and a bomb. He held onto the note and wouldn’t let her take it, she said.
The man left with some cash and walked away from the bank.
Police released photos of the suspect from surveillance video in the bank. He was wearing a face mask at the time of the robbery.
Police think this is the same man who robbed the Austintown PNC Bank last week.
