A celebration is being planned in Youngstown for breast cancer survivors.

The Junior League of Youngstown hosts the Pink Ribbon Tea, which includes a luncheon and entertainment.

It’s happening at 11 a.m. Monday, August 20 at Stambaugh Auditorium.

A gift basket raffle and goodie bags will be available to those in attendance. Entertainment will be provided by Illa Willis, a former League member and Pump Boys and Dinettes performer.

The idea is to create a special afternoon of support, inspiration and hope for breast cancer fighters and survivors.

Tickets are $20, and all of the money goes to survivors.

“We raise money to ensure that all breast cancer survivors can attend for free,” said event Co-Chair Susan Stewart.

If you would like to attend the event, call Patti, the Pink Ribbon Tea’s treasurer, at 330-759-8011.

The deadline for reservations is August 6.
