CAMPBELL, Ohio (WYTV) – Campbell Memorial High School Principal, Jacquelyn Hampton, is back on the job Friday.

The school board placed her on paid leave February 12, while looking into her conduct.

After a thorough investigation by district officials, they found she did nothing wrong.

Hampton was placed on leave for supposedly not reporting the sexual misconduct of former teacher Shannon Pavlansky-Wojtowicz.

The district then hired former Cardinal Mooney High School principal John Young as interim principal.

During Hampton’s leave of absence, district officials say their investigation showed the incident was previously reported to local authorities, as is a state requirement.

With Hampton returning,Young will not stay in that position.

Campbell City Schools Superintendent Matthew Bowen says their number one focus is the students well-being and safety, and they are happy to have Hampton return to the school where she can continue to work with her students.
