YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Dante Strollo, brother of notorious Youngstown mob boss Lenny Strollo, died on Tuesday.

Strollo was a self-employed vending machine owner, according to his obituary.

He was among dozens involved in organized crime investigations in Mahoning County that spanned over three decades.

Dante ended up testifying against his brother, who was a crime boss in Pittsburgh with control stretching into Youngstown. He was accused of helping Lenny with the Youngstown operation that included bribes, money laundering and racketeering.

Dante was sentenced to just under four years in prison.

Lenny was sentenced to 13 years in prison after taking a plea deal, and was released in 2008.

Dante Strollo was 89 years old.
