SALEM, Ohio (WYTV) – Salem police and the Columbiana County Coroner have identified the body found Sunday in a wooded area as Randy W. Llewellyn Sr., 61, of Salem.
Salem Police Det. Dave Talbert said Llewellyn had a medical condition and it is believed he had a massive heart attack after being dropped off in that area Friday for his normal walk back to his apartment on Continental Drive.
A neighbor called police Sunday morning because she had not seen Llewellyn since Friday. When he was not found inside his apartment, a search began. He was found a short time later by a family member and friend.
His body was found in a wooded area off Bentley Avenue, near Continental Drive.
