YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A Beloit woman is due back in Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas for sentencing in December after being convicted in a Medicaid fraud case.
Loretta Phillips, who operated a mental health counseling practice, was accused of submitting bills for services she never provided. Following a two week trial, a jury found Phillips guilty of theft, falsification and tampering with records.
She is scheduled to return to court and will be sentenced for the charges on December 14.
