AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – An Austintown tattoo shop is offering discounted Cavaliers tattoos for fans who want to permanently commemorate the team’s NBA championship win.
Bareknuckle Tattoo is charging just $30 for Cavs tattoos until the end of this year, which is not a bad deal, considering the ink would normally cost up to $100.
Tim Ragozzine, of Austintown, was getting his 15th tattoo on Tuesday, but the first that was Cavaliers-themed.
“I like the way the design flows, and it reminds me a lot of the games I used to go with my dad when I was a kid,” he said.
Owner Joe Davila is a big-time Cavs fan, just like many of his customers.
“Just to see Cleveland bring a championship home finally has a big boost to everyone’s morale here. We’d like to give back to many of our regular customers, many of whom are Cleveland sports fans,” Nathan Offerdahl said. “With the Cavs being in the playoffs and doing so well in the first few rounds, we saw quite a few people come in.”
If you’re not daring enough to make the lifelong commitment of getting a tattoo, the shop has other Cavs-related deals as well.
“Five dollar Cavs logo line cuts from our barber shop. If you wear a Cavs t-shirt into the shop, it’s $10 off any piercing. Twenty-five dollars to anyone who wears a permanent Cavs shirt into the shop.”
Bareknuckle Tattoo is open Monday through Saturday from noon until 8 p.m. Tattoo appointments can be walk-in, but Cavs logo hair cuts have to be scheduled ahead of time.
