CANFIELD, Ohio (WYTV) – Angels for Animals is getting ready for its annual gigantic garage sale.
Donations have been coming in at the dropoff location at the Canfield Fairgrounds since Monday. Donations will be accepted again from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Volunteers will spend Thursday getting ready and sorting through items like crafts and toys. It is Angles for Animals’ biggest fundraiser of the year.
“We generate 10 percent of our entire overhead and expenses for running Angels for Animals,” volunteer Jerry Dixey said. “We spend a lot of time out here. We have buildings that have furniture, electronics. We have clothing in one building. We have books and records and tapes in one building.”
The event runs Friday through Sunday. Click here for more information on the gigantic garage sale, including how to donate, hours and admission prices.
