SPRINGFIELD TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – The Ohio Turnpike Commission will have to come up with a repair plan for one of its bridges following a crash in Springfield Township.
The bridge carrying Beard Road over the turnpike is back open to traffic now, but it had to be closed late Tuesday after an Amazon tractor-trailer rammed into the overpass.
A preliminary inspection shows the bridge sustained some damage in the crash. Engineers will now conduct a more thorough review to determine how to make repairs.
Last Monday, an Amazon truck rolled over on a ramp on I-80 in Liberty.
