ALLIANCE, Ohio (WYTV) – A boy from Alliance wants the driver who hit him and drove off last week to turn himself in.

A driver hit Jonathon Morris, 11, on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Morris was grounded and supposed to be home that evening, but he sneaked out to go to McDonald’s and got hit trying to cross East State Street on his bike.

The crash left him with a broken leg and shoulder, 22 stitches and road rash.

Now, he has a message for the person who hit him.

“You need to come up and say you’re sorry,” Morris said. “I hope your turn yourself in, and you need to pay for your consequences.”

Morris is expected to spend at least 6 months in physical therapy.

Alliance Police said the car is described as a silver sedan and should have damage to the front passenger side.

If you have any information about this crash, please call Alliance Police at 330-821-9140.
