Fifty million Americans suffer from arthritis pain, but we have some reassuring news on pain relief.
If arthritis is troubling you, can you also pop an occasional aspirin?
The Cleveland Clinic researchers pointed out that it’s still important for people who take prescription pain relievers and aspirin to talk to their doctors.
Dr. Steve Nissen said to make sure to talk with a doctor first.
“We found, overall, that you can take aspirin safely with these drugs.”
Make sure your doctor says it’s OK for you to do this, especially if you’re taking the pain relievers in full therapeutic doses.
