YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO (WYTV) – A Youngstown man once accused of murder has been sentenced to nine months on several weapons charges.
Jamar Houser, 24, pleaded guilty Feb. 6 to improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, having weapons while under disability and domestic violence.
Youngstown Police arrested Houser July 9, 2014, after they found a gun in his car during a traffic stop. According to reports, Houser told officers the weapon was his and he had it for protection.
In 2010, Houser was charged in the shooting death of Angeline Fimognari outside St. Dominic Parish. The case against him was dismissed after police found evidence implicating someone else.
