Submitted: Monday, November 16, 2009 10:04 AM
The Southwest Warren Neighborhood Assoc, along with ACTION (The Alliance for Congregational Transformation Influencing Our Neighborhoods), local residents and clergy will be holding a "Public Meeting" on Thursday, Nov. 19th at 7pm (sharp).  This meeting will be held at New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church, 1590 Tod Ave SW.  This is a follow-up from the "Holy Ground Initiative" that was held on Oct. 13th, 2009 at the corner of 4th St & Highland Ave.  The purpose of this meeting is to address the issue of 'professional accountability" and to discuss how to make store owners more accountable to the community for excessive loitering and criminal activity that occurs on store property and the surrounding area.  All are welcome to come and be apart.  If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Robert Stringer at 330-540-9912 or Rose Carter, Lead Organizer for ACTION at 330-941-0475.

Add your perspective to any issue by leaving comments on the site.

To keep the discussion constructive, we have a few basic guidelines:

Do not add posts that have nothing to do with the topic, repetitive posts to multiple items and off-topic posts that hinder discussion.

Please respond insightfully and respectfully. There is room for disagreement, but please disagree with people's ideas. Personal attacks will not be tolerated.

Do not post comments which contain profanity, hate speeches or solicitations of any kind.

Stay on topic. Keep it short. Limit your posts to about 150 words. If you have to scroll to read your comment, it's probably too long.

Review your comment. Good grammar, spelling, and punctuation make it easier for everyone to understand your ideas.

We welcome your thoughts, but we reserve the right to remove or edit comments for guideline violations, including excessive length. Thank you for your understanding.
