A Grief and Loss support group, free and open to the public, is held the second Thursday of each month, at 6 PM, at Lake Vista of Cortland. Senior Independence Hospice and Lake Vista of Cortland present the group each month with a licensed social worked leading the group. Topics on different aspects of the grieving process are presented each month, but discussions center on the needs of those attending. Meetings are held at the Clubhouse at Lake Vista of Cortland, 303 North Mecca Street, Cortland, Ohio 44410. For more information, call 330-638-2420

Add your perspective to any issue by leaving comments on the site.

To keep the discussion constructive, we have a few basic guidelines:

Do not add posts that have nothing to do with the topic, repetitive posts to multiple items and off-topic posts that hinder discussion.

Please respond insightfully and respectfully. There is room for disagreement, but please disagree with people's ideas. Personal attacks will not be tolerated.

Do not post comments which contain profanity, hate speeches or solicitations of any kind.

Stay on topic. Keep it short. Limit your posts to about 150 words. If you have to scroll to read your comment, it's probably too long.

Review your comment. Good grammar, spelling, and punctuation make it easier for everyone to understand your ideas.

We welcome your thoughts, but we reserve the right to remove or edit comments for guideline violations, including excessive length. Thank you for your understanding.
