'Hounds Head into Playoffs

It was a thrilling finish to the regular season for the Steelhounds, and it's effect will carry into the postseason.

Thanks to Saturday's 3-2 shootout victory over the Colorado Eagles, Youngstown clinched second place in the Northeast Division - and set up a rematch of the two teams in the first round of the playoffs.  The Hounds (39-20-5) will be the third seed in the Central Hockey League, the Eagles (37-20-7) will be the #2 seed.

The best of seven series will begin in Loveland, Colorado with games one and two on Friday and Saturday.  The Steelhounds will host game three on Tuesday, April 1, game four on Thursday, April 3, and game five on Friday, April 4.  Face off for all three games will be at 7:05.

The Hounds went 3-1-1 against the Eagles in the regular season this year.
