One of the better post season traditions whether it be football or basketball is Trumbull counties player of the year banquet. A first class event that honors the best senior players from each school and the night capped of by the naming of the boys and girls players of the year.

This year on the boys side the top honor goes to Warren hardings Damion eagle. He is the first harding winner since Ian Folmer in 1989. Eagle the leader of a raiders team among the states best and made it all the way to regionals. He average 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game.

And his career far from over. Eagle will play his college ball at division 1 NC-Greensboro.
