Jennifer Leininger: Salem Gymnastics

Jennifer is in her 3rd year competing at the highest level of competition in Junior Olympics, Level 10. She has qualified for state and regional competition on the uneven bars since she was in 8th grade. During that season, Leininger had reconstructive surgery on her left ankle and was told she would not be able to compete in gymnastics.

Always a 3.4 student, Jennifer improved in the classroom and now carries a 3.6 GPA. She is a member of the yearbook staff and the German Club. She has done volunteer work with her youth group and Angels for Animals.
