Niki joined the 33 WYTV news team on Monday, March 17, 2008. She now co-anchors the 5, 6 and 11PM newscasts with Stan Boney.
Niki Weirich got her start in Youngstown with the WKBN/WYFX News Team in January of 2005. She started as the live reporter on First News This Morning from 5-7 AM and was promoted to anchor on First News at Ten of FOX 17/62.
Born in Kidron, Ohio, she has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communication from Kent State University.
Growing up, Niki always wanted to be a reporter. As a youngster, she would interview family and neighbors to create her own hometown newscast.
One of her favorite things about working at WYTV is getting out and meeting new and interesting people in the Valley. In her free time, Niki loves roller-blading, walking her dog at Mill Creek Park and visiting family and friends.
