Warren's Fire Chief Waiting For A Verdict

A judge will soon decide if Warren's fire chief is guilty of an assault charge.

The trial for Fire Chief Ken Nussle was held this morning in Niles Municipal Court.  Nussle is accused of hitting and kicking his former girlfriend, Marcie DiCenso, in January.

Nussle denies the allegations, saying the night the alleged incident took place DiCenso was intoxicated and had to be carried out of a bar.

DiCenso, however, tells a different story saying, "He hit me and kicked me across the face and my right eye."

After hearing the testimony, the judge said he would go over all the evidence before making his decision.  A ruling in the case is expected in the next few days.
