The Ohio Lottery's newest game Keno failed to hit it big in its first month. Keno sales fell below annual projections, of nearly 300 million dollars. At the end of August, Keno brought in a little more than 7 million dollars and awarded 4 point 6 million dollars in prizes. Lottery officials launched the game to help plug a projected 733-Million dollar hole in the state budget. Although it didn't meet its expectations officials say getting more retailers up and running with the game is key to increasing revenue. Currently there are 1 thousand authorized dealers, officials hope to double that number by the end of the year.
