In Canfield, families gathered around the Village Green to watch that community's parade, which dates back to at least the early 1970's.

The event includes just about everything from veterans' and military units, to fire trucks and antique automobiles, to politicians tossing out candy to the kids, and of course, the local high school band.

Besides the parade, there were also plenty of family-friendly activities on the Village Green.  Including games for the kids and music by Paul Rossi and the Youngstown Symphonic Band.

Once dusk falls, the local Rotary will host a free fireworks display at the Canfield Fairgrounds.
