Obama House Party

All across the state tonight, hundreds of people gathered in the privacy of their own homes to host their own presidential campaign. Their goal: to get Barak Obama in the White House.  One of those house parties tonight was at the Boardman home of Cheryl Wright. She invited friends, family and even Y.S.U. students for a friendly gathering to share their passion for the democratic contender.  Similar scenes played out tonight in more than 200-houses across Ohio, a new tactic the Obama campaign is using to energize supporters.

Cheryl Wright, Obama Supporter;  "I THINK THE HOUSE PARTIES ARE MORE INTIMATE THAN LARGER CROWDS. YOU CAN SIT DOWN AND PRIVATELY TALK AND DISCUSS ISSUES."

The house parties are part of Obama's "United for Change" campaign. More than 4-thousand people have signed up to host similar meetings nationwide.
