Breaking news out of Liberty Tuesday night concerning the eagerly awaited Wal-Mart project.

It was confirmed that construction of the store is now on hold.

Township Trustee Jodi Stoyak says she was informed by a Wal-Mart official this evening that the project is on hold because Youngstown has a stipulation on their water contract that the store has to hire twenty five percent of their employees from Youngstown.

But, Youngstown Mayor Jay Williams says the allegations are not true.
