Rumors and speculation continue to swirl surrounding Kelly Pavlik's next fight. The latest published report says Pavlik's next bout will not be a title defense.  According to ESPN.com, a was struck today that will put Pavlik in the ring against Bernard Hopkins. He's both a former light heavyweight champion and a former middleweight champion. The Ghos will move up ten pounds to fight Hopkins at 170. It's expected that the fight would take place October 18th at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. The 43 year-old Hopkins lost his light heavyweight title to Joe Calzaghe in April. Top Rank Promoter Bob Arum says some details still need to be worked out.
