Just about all of us have seen the video of a woman being interviewed by Warren Police Detective Wayne Mackey, when all of a sudden, a baby squirrel pops out of the woman's top.

Friday, we found the woman, Amber Finney, and asked her the question everyone has been wondering...why exactly did she have a squirrel in her shirt?

"It had a broken leg and it was like my baby, and I didn't want to leave it home," Finney said.  "I knew I couldn't just bring it inside the police department so I put it in my shirt."

Finney, an animal lover, had gone to the police station to talk to the detective as a character witness for a defendant in a murder trial.  She told us that when the squirrel popped out of her shirt, she was afraid she would get into trouble.  But, to her surprise, the detective never mentioned her fury friend.

The squirrel, she named Stripe, has since healed and she set him free.  She forgot about whole incident and had no idea the video had made its way on TV or the internet until two days ago.

"My friend says, 'gee, you are on You Tube' and I was like, what?" Finney said.  "He said I gotta watch the videos."

Finney and her fiance' Mike Rader take in stray animals, like pit bulls puppies and cats all the time.  Even though she says she loves squirrels, she says Stripe is the first squirrel she ever kept for awhile as a pet.
