The Warren Post of the Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a deadly car crash on North Leavitt Road, about a mile north of West Market Street, shortly before 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

When officers arrived, they discovered a 1997 Ford Mustang, split in half, with two of the passengers dead at the scene, and three others critically injured. According to reports, none of the occupants of the vehicle were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.

The vehicle was apparently traveling southbound on North Leavitt Road at a high rate of speed, when the driver lost control, slid off the roadway and struck a tree. Reports say all of the passengers were ejected from the car.

Family members of 25-year-old Benjamin Bosley from Leavittsburg, who died in the crash, came to the scene Saturday, still in disbelief.

"He was a good hearted guy. He'd help anybody anytime he could, and he was just in the wrong car is all I can say," Bosley's uncle Robert Bernett said.

Bosley's cousin Shelby Bosley was also at the scene: "He was a great person. It's hard to see somebody like that go. He made a difference in everybody's life, like making them smile, like the little things."

In addition to Benjamin Bosley, 25-year-old passenger Rory Drnek from Mansfield also died at the scene. The driver, David A. Eubank, 24, of Newton Falls and passenger Amber Hann, 23, also from Newton Falls were both transported to Trumbull Memorial Hospital in critical condition. Michael Lester, 24, of Leavittsburg, was life-flighted to Saint Elizabeth Health Center in critical condition.

The accident still remains under investigation.
