A jury trial is set to begin for a Youngstown man accused in the murder of an Auto Zone clerk nearly four years ago.

Melvin Dixon's trial is set to begin Monday in Mahoning County Court. Dixon is charged with aggravated murder in the shooting death of Ed Agee in May 2006.

Police said Dixon, along two other men, entered the store on McCartney Road wearing Halloween masks. During the robbery Agee was shot, they said.

One of the suspects, Jamaad Jackson, who was 17 at the time, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and aggravated robbery.
