Even if your team wasn't playing in the Super Bowl, plenty of people planned on watching the game just for the commercials.
Thanks to the Internet, you didn't have to wait until Sunday night for the best commercials of the year.
We asked folks across the Valley what they did. Some said they had already watched the commercials, and didn't plan on tuning in.
But others say the waiting is all part of the Super bowl experience.
"I'd rather wait when they come on the game to be surprised because that's the whole part of watching the Super Bowl and everything to watch the commercials, and laugh and everything.", said Andrew Scarmack.
Trena Procick watched the commercials ahead of time. She said, "I loved them. That's the main reason for the Super Bowl when your team is not in it, and mine is not in it this year."
Since Procick has already watched the commercials, she plans on doing a few loads of laundry tonight.
