Customers who may have eaten at a handful of Quaker Steak and Lube locations in Ohio before June 30, 2011, could benefit from a class action settlement agreement.

According to court documents, the restaurants in Austintown, Sheffield Village, Valley View, Mentor and Canton were named in the lawsuit, which accused them of rounding up some customers' bills by one to two cents.

The court didn't rule for either side, but the settlement was reached and approved instead, according to court documents. The Sharon-based company has denied any wrongdoing.

Customers who ate at the restaurants before June 30, 2011, can mail the company a claim for a $5 off coupon.

Quaker Steak is GENIUS... rounding bills up 1 or 2 cents?? HAHA Instead of anyone getting their $$ refunded, now they have to go back and spend more money. Any coupons issued would have surely been paid for by the rounding off of the bills. Not to mention, can you imagine the marketing possibilities from the flood of personal information that they will be receiving??
