A former Trumbull County sheriff's deputy has been indicted on a sexual battery charge.
George Palmer, 21, was indicted Friday by a Trumbull County Grand Jury and is expected to be arraigned next week.
Trumbull County Sheriff's officials said Palmer is accused of having sexual contact with a female inmate last month. He was fired shortly after officials learned of the allegation.
