The 4th of July turned deadly for an employee of New Castle based, Zambelli International Fireworks.

Police say a 19 year old man was killed while staging a July 4th celebration in Quakertown, Pennsylvania.

Officers say the teen was struck in the head and chest by debris, after one of the fireworks misfired.  The accident took place during the grand finale at Quakertown's Memorial Park, just before 10pm Saturday night.

The victim was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.  His name has not yet been released, pending the notification of his family.

Fire marshals are investigating the accident.
