A Valley treat is on its way to the Super Bowl.

Earlier this week, White House Fruit Farm in Canfield received a special order for blueberry doughnuts. On Friday morning, Linda McNally, the mother-in-law of New York Giants player Jim Cordle, picked up 10 dozen.

The blueberry doughnuts are a favorite of Cordle and the team. McNally made the nearly six-hour drive to Indianapolis to deliver them.

"We think it's a good omen that the doughnuts are blue. So, we're hoping that the White House doughnuts, the blueberry doughnuts, bring us a New York Giants win. And it's so nice for the Valley to have a connection to the Super Bowl this week," McNally said.

The owners and employees of White House said they hope for a picture or maybe even a signed box of doughnuts in return.

Eli Manning and the New York Giants will take on Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in Sunday's game.
