The Olive Street Bridge in Weathersfield township is closed to traffic until further notice. It may be several months before officials decide whether to repair or replace the bridge.
The Trumbull County Engineer closed the bridge Friday afternoon after a bridge inspection. The county will get a second opinion before deciding on what to do. The bridge is a well traveled link between McDonald and Niles.
