Stone Springs Vineyard in East Palestine offers a wide array of wines from here in Ohio, and more varieties from around the world.

The store celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting Friday morning.

Shop owner Jessica McCrea said now is as good a time as ever to open up her business. "It's a passion I've always had. Personally, I feel in a recession it's one of the best times to open a business. Your cost is less. My building cost is less. I've always loved wine or decorating. We do Amish cabinetry and wine cellars, and it's now or never. You gotta jump in sometime."

The shop is holding a Christmas open house this weekend.
