The Saint Joseph Outpatient Surgery Center in Howland wants to say thank you to its patients this week.
The center on Route 46 is planning several events, including a gift basket giveaway with refreshments.
Employee Lucy Falatic says the workers go out of their way at the center to make patients feel comfortable. "I tell patients if they come here, they will have a fabulous experience from the moment they come in, and I am not just saying it because I work here. I mean it."
As part of the appreciation week, the staff at the Surgery Center decorated pumpkins and asked the patients to vote for their favorite.
