Police in New Middletown and Springfield township raided a home on Middletown Road on Monday.  Inside they found marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and stolen jewelry, as well as, equipment used to grown marijuana.

Police arrested 19 year old Matthew Horvath.  They believe the stolen items are related to several car and home break-ins in New Middletown over the past 3 weeks.  "We do have information that the suspect has been pawning all this jewelry.  We do have pawn slips.  So our investigation continues until we identify all the jewelry as stolen, and we'll go from there on the appropriate charges," says New Middletown Police Chief Vince D'Egidio.

Springfield Township Police Chief Matt Mohn says the drugs were found when police executed a search warrant on the home.  "In plain sight they found some marijuana plants that was an in-house grow, and as you can see here, they located approximately 18 starter plants, and the lights for the grow."

Police say they do have additional suspects in the break-ins.
