While some shopped on Thanksgiving, others prepared for Black Friday. That included the one place that seems to always have a waiting line: Best Buy.
At 8 p.m., the line of at least 50 people at the Best Buy in Boardman had already stretched from the store's front doors to Chuck-E-Cheese. They were using blankets, coats, even cuddles to stay warm. The first people in line showed up at 6 a.m. and set up a large blue tent.
"I did it last year, and it was pretty fun," said Chris Bzniak, Poland resident. "I need a laptop for college and stuff, so I came out here with some friends and a good time. Get some good sales."
Best Buy opens at 5 a.m. The Prime Outlets in Grove City, however, open at midnight. Old Navy opens at 3 a.m. Most major stores on Black Friday will be up and running by 6 a.m.
