Millions of people around the globe celebrate Easter, each with their own customs

Polish Easter is known for the beautiful eggs, and of course, food!

The culture and tradition will be shared this weekend at St. Stanislaus Church in Youngstown. The Polish Folk Circle is having traditional workshops as part of its celebration.

"Polish Easter is wrapped around a lot of symbolism," said Marta Mazur of the Krakowiaki Polish Folk Circle. "There's a lot of symbolism where we take the Easter basket to church on Saturday and we bless all the items that will be present at our Easter table on Sunday. We share egg with everybody, hard boiled egg, which is cut up and we share it and we wish everyone good luck."

The Polish Easter event is this Sunday from noon until 4:00 p.m. at Saint Stan's in Youngstown.
