Second Galaxy Seafood Robber Gets 6-Year Sentence

A judge sentenced the third suspect in an attempted robbery last year. that ended with one of the suspects dead.

James Thomas pleaded guilty to robbery and will now serve a six-year prison sentence. Prosecutors said Thomas, Nathaniel Dumas and Warren Wright all tried to rob the Galaxy Seafood store last April, but during the attempt, a an off-duty Youngstown police officer working security shot and killed Wright.

A judge sentenced Dumas on Friday to 28-years-to life on robbery and murder charges.
