A group that advocates for victims of clergy abuse is claiming another person has come forward with a complaint against a local priest.

A leader with the organization known as "Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests" -- or "SNAP" -- tells us she was contacted Tuesday by a man who says he too was abused by Father Thomas Crum.

Over the weekend, Crum was placed on leave from the ministry by Youngstown Bishop George Murry after he received allegations of sexual misconduct while Crum was teaching at Cardinal Mooney High School in the mid-1970's.

While Bishop Murry says he's sent letters around to different parishes urging other potential victims to notify the Diocese, leaders with "SNAP" say victims need to report their claims to law enforcement, regardless of how long ago the alleged abuse might have occurred.

So far, the Diocese has had no comment on the new allegations.

Yes, a second victim of Fr Crum contacted myself, he is worried that many others have been abused by this priest. This abuse happened while Crum was in the seminary, and continued when he became a priest. This victim knows of another who was also sexually abused by Crum.. so the list goes on. We urge anyone who has witnessed, suspects or has been harmed by Fr Crum to please contact law enforcement. A crime has been committed against you, and it does NOT matter how long ago, or how recent the abuse took place. This new victim does not ever want to see another child to be abused by this priest, and he urges that Crum be kept away from children forever. Well, that another Victim has been found is indeed wonderful news. As a Clergy Abuse Survivor myself, I have found that, where there is One Sexually Victimized Child of the Church, there are at least Four or Five more Victims of the same Perpetrator Priest. The pdophile priest who sexually violated me had over 200 Victims.

In the state of Delaware we have no statutes of limitation criminally or civilly regarding the sexual abuse of children. There is also a two yeare civil window for bringing forward previously time barred cases of childhood sexual abuse, BY ANYONE. This civil window is open in Delaware until July 10, 2009 so if you or anyone you know was ever sexually abuses as a child in Delaware BY ANYONE you may register a possible civil suit.

SNAP leaders are correct here. Anyone who thinks he or she may have been sexually abused as a child by anyone should first file a report with the proper law enforcement agency, no matter when the abuse may have occured. The pathology of sexual abusers, rapists or pedophiles indicates that there are usually more victims; there rarely is just one.

Oh, if the people would just do what is RIGHT and LAWFUL, they would immediately go to the authorities to make their claim against their SEXUAL abusers. That is why this has not been cleared up long before now. Because the sexually abused children or young adults [can't face it] or family either, and the abused, if he can, because he's told by the priest or other clergy, " NO ONE will EVER believe him over the Clergy. So if they go ANYWHERE at all, they go to their beloved church[who tells them," never to bring scandal on the RCC clergy, as God, the Lord, will take care of that complaint." It's a sin if they tell. The church wants no part of helping the sexually abused person in any way. The RC Church wants to cover up all scandals, sexual, physical cruelty, stolen money, huge lies, or otherwise. The RCC always comes BEFORE the sexual abuse of children. DON'T LEARN YOUR LESSONS THE HARD WAY, LEARN THEM BY USING YOUR "GOOD COMMON SENSE" that the GOOD LORD GAVE YOU! AMEN?!
