It's official: The GM Lordstown complex will have its own street name.

Lordstown Village Council voted to change the name of part of Hallock-Young Road to General Motors Parkway.

The decision was made as a way to honor General Motors' commitment to the Valley and celebrate 40 years of building GM cars in Lordstown.

No word yet on when the change will take place. Village Council had earlier suggested that the renaming would coincide with the rollout of the new Chevy Cruze.
