Public Meeting on Plans to Honor General Motors

Should the village of Lordstown honor General Motors with its own street? That will be the topic of a public meeting (Monday) today in Lordstown.

This weekend, Lordstown Village Council announced that it is consider re-naming part of Hallock-Young Road to General Motors Parkway.

Village leaders say they want to do something to honor the automaker's commitment to the area.

If you'd like to voice your opinion, the meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Village Administration Building.
