A week after charges were filed against a pair of school bus drivers in Canfield following an accident, a substitute driver for the district is now facing her own charges after a crash Tuesday.

We're told the incident happened Tuesday afternoon in the bus parking area off Lisbon Street. Authorities said 65-year-old Geraldine Banks was moving a bus to begin her shift when she clipped another bus.

When police were called to take a report, officers detected alcohol on the woman's breath and she was eventually cited for operating a commercial motor vehicle while having a measurable or detectable amount of alcohol or controlled substance in her system.

Police said Banks admitted to taking several prescription medications. Banks is due in court Wednesday afternoon.
